The core premise in the LIFEPOD system is this:

The improved cost advantage of LIFEPOD is found in the reusable components. There are no chemical curtains, or cartridges to buy/re-buy; LIFEPOD contains refillable air cylinders that can be easily replaced without removing the entire system from the mine. LIFEPOD is also flexible in the number of miners each system can support (4-32 miners).

The LIFEPOD system comes complete with roof supports and an explosion-proof LED lighting system.
